Reading From Revelation 11
“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:
“The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.”
—Revelation 11:15
In our current reality, Satan is the god of this world and the whole Earth is under the control of the evil one. But there is coming a day when the victory that was won from the Garden of Gethsemane to the Cross of Calvary to the Empty Tomb will be made complete with the consummation of all things. Everything will be brought together under the power and authority of Christ Jesus. The kingdom of this world will become the Kingdom of our Lord and we will reign with Him forever and forever.
What kind of Kingdom will this be in the New Heaven and the New Earth? We are given a description in Revelation 21, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Everything will be new and God will dwell with us and within us. There will be no more sin, no more curse, no more corrosive effects of sin, and He will have His perfect way in all things. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
“Lord, You are great and Your love endures forever. In You, the future for us is bright and filled with hope. Thank You for preparing a place for us that where You are there we will be also. Bind us all together as Your eternal family, sealed with Your Holy Spirit of Promise. Blessed be Your holy Name. Amen.”
The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.
The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
The infant will play near the cobra’s den,
and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest.
They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.
—Isaiah 11:6-9
