Reading From I Corinthians 11:1-16

“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.”—I Corinthians 11:1

As we follow Jesus ourselves, we set an example to those around us of what it means to be a Christian. This means we need to be aware of how we’re communicating the Gospel with our lifestyle. Do we reflect the image of God or are we projecting our sinful nature? May we shine the love and message of Jesus in the world around us.

“Lord, forgive us for not being cognizant of how we come across to others. Give us real compassion and a desire to see others come to know you. Amen.”

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.—Matthew 5:16
