But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.—Matthew 6:33
Human beings chase after all kinds of worldly things yearning for satisfaction. But it is a spiritual law that anything other than healthy, balanced, right relationship with God the Father through the Son by the power of the Spirit will not satisfy the deepest desires of our hearts. Thanks be to God for His sure promises that if we diligently seek Him with our whole hearts we will find Him and be found in Him.
We have not because we ask not and some of us have not because we ask amiss; our intentions are not right. But when our desires are in alignment with the will of God that we see in the principles of His written Word, we can be assured our prayers will be answered in the affirmative. The solutions will come in the supernaturally creative way that God moves and it’ll be in His timing, but as we pray His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, it shall come to pass!
Our walk with the Lord doesn’t end with our new birth experience. We need to grow in God. Grow up to be strong men and women who seek His face. Better is one day in His courts than thousands elsewhere. If you need healing, seek Him with your whole heart. If you need peace, seek Him diligently. If you need provision, ask Him for it. Seek Him and do not give up until You find Him. Persevere. Pray continually. Keep contending in the spiritual realm for what God has for you. If He has given you vision, have faith and trust that it’ll become reality.
Remember in all things to give Him all the praise and honor Him with whatever He blesses you with. Share the abundance! For it is better to give than to receive. When God blesses spiritually, temporally or all the above, those blessings are meant to be shared, not hoarded. Pray through until the breakthrough in Jesus’ Name! Don’t give up.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently seek him.—Hebrews 11:6
You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.—James 4:2-3
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.—Matthew 7:7-5
