Reading From John 4:31-54

“Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.”So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. And because of his words many more became believers.”—John 4:39-41

Never underestimate the power of the story of how God has changed your life. He can take your worst failures, wash away the sin, put a new song in your heart and equip and empower you to articulate what wonderful things He has done for you. People don’t need a religious argument, they need to know about your experience with the love and power of Jesus.

The woman at the well shared her testimony and many people came into the eternal family of God. The same will happen in your life when you choose to be brave and tell others of the wonders of the Lord. Think about what Jesus means to you and have the courage to talk about Him.

“Lord Jesus, put Your Word in our mouths and the courage in our hearts we need to share Your love and message with others. May we plant seeds of kindness and truth and reap a bountiful harvest in due time. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.”

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
    and the kingdom of our God,
    and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
    who accuses them before our God day and night,
    has been hurled down.
¹¹ They triumphed over him
    by the blood of the Lamb
    and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
    as to shrink from death.
