Reading From John 3:19-36

“For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.”—John 3:34-36

The idea of a limited atonement is not an idea I see in Scripture. For God so loved the world. God gives the Spirit without limit. In the last days I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. These biblical phrases reveal that God wants as many people as possible to believe and receive Him as Savior and Lord.

But He will not force anyone into righteous, healthy, balanced relationship with Him. Those who reject Him and His Word will spend eternity outside of His Presence. God doesn’t damn people to Hell. If someone goes to Hell, they go off their own accord.

“Heavenly Father, bring strength and courage to Your sons and daughters as we share Your love and message with those in need. May we be a blessing to everyone we come in contact with. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.”

God wants everyone to be saved and to fully understand the truth. There is only one God, and there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Christ Jesus, who as a man gave himself to pay for everyone to be free. This is the message that was given to us at just the right time.—I Timothy 2:4-6
