As we discover our identity, community and destiny in Jesus, it is vital to ask Him for wisdom and discernment. Real truth forms a solid bedrock to build your life upon. I have that truth to be Christ and His Word. He is the foundation that will never fail.

If you have Jesus and the Bible as your point of reference, you can maintain spiritual well being and growth while navigating our chaotic modern world. As we take a stand for truth, it is necessary for us to battle against falsehood. We do this by carefully and thoughtfully considering ideas and concepts, praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance, testing what we encounter using the tools given us in Scripture, and then endeavoring to clearly communicate our findings in light of biblical principles.

As we come to know Jesus through His Word the Bible, we must actively partner with Him to cultivate a healthy, balanced relationship. Communication and quality time will strengthen this bond and allow us to recognize when thoughts are from God, Satan or our flesh. Then we can accept or reject them and move forward in faith, stronger in our testimony and with a broader perspective on God, ourselves and the world around us.
