Forever Home in the Eternal Family of God

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ,overflow to the many!”—Romans 5

On this Good Friday, we are reminded that Jesus Christ came to offer to humanity a path of restoration from spiritual darkness to light, from death to life! He did this by taking all sin from all time upon Himself and paying our penalty for it in full. As fully God and fully man, He was uniquely qualified to be the perfect Lamb of God, both the ultimate sacrifice and our Great High Priest. In Him we have life abundant and eternal.

As we reach out to Him in faith, believing He is who He said He is and He will do what He said He will do, turning away from our sin and making a commitment to follow Him, we are born again and all the blessings of His eternal family and Kingdom belong to us.

Be encouraged, brothers and sisters in the Lord! We no longer have to do this life alone, for as He cleanses us from sin, He takes up residence within us, making us individually His temples and bringing us together collectively as the Church, His holy House, His mighty Temple that He dwells in by His Spirit!
