Reading From Matthew 27:51-66

“At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split.” — Matthew 27:51

The death of Jesus paid the sin debt for all of mankind. This made it possible for the gap to be closed between God and man by grace through faith. The veil in the temple represented the separation between sinful man and the Presence of a holy God. God was the One who tore it apart that day. He made the Way for us to be cleansed and reconciled to Himself forever. No more separation. Relationship restored!

“God thank You that You want to be with us. We love you Lord. I pray that more and more people will reach out in faith and grab hold of what You provided for them in Jesus. Amen.”

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. —Hebrews 4:16
