Reading From Hebrews 7-10

“How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!”

 –Hebrews 9:14

There were over three hundred Messianic promises in the Old Testament that Jesus fulfilled.  He is literally the Promises of God come true in bodily form, the Word of God.  The Book of Hebrews shows in beautiful detail how the Lord is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets, particularly the Tabernacle and the sacrificial system.  He took all of our sin upon Himself and paid the penalty for us so that we have the freedom to serve Him, the Living God.

“Lord Jesus, thank You for Your blood that was shed so that we can have the freedom to live for You and do that which is right.  Enable us by the power of Your Holy Spirit to travel upon the highway of holiness and be faithful to You until You bring us home forever.  We praise and glorify Your holy Name, Amen.”

Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

–Romans 10:4
