Reading From Isaiah 31-34

“See, a king will reign in righteousness
    and rulers will rule with justice.
Each one will be like a shelter from the wind
    and a refuge from the storm,
like streams of water in the desert
    and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.

Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed,
    and the ears of those who hear will listen.
The fearful heart will know and understand,
    and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear.”

–Isaiah 32:1-4

     The Kingdom of God was ushered in with the ministry of Jesus upon the Earth.  Its spiritual borders extend to wherever human beings surrender their wills to God the Father and genuinely seek not their own will, but His be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.  As each person decides to turn away from their sin and toward the light of Truth, the godly territory expands and beats back the kingdom of darkness.

     But there is coming a great and glorious day when our faith shall be sight and there will only be one kingdom and that will be the Kingdom of God.  Satan and His demons will be cast into the lake of fire, all those who reject the good news of Jesus will tragically suffer apart from the Presence of the Lord and those who have chosen to be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb will enjoy the limitless pleasures of the ultimate Promised Land, the New Eden. 

     We look forward to that day when the true followers of Jesus will be called out of every nation and gather around the throne of God.  We will eat from the Tree of Life, drink from the refreshing water of the River of Life and reign with Christ in the New Heaven and the New Earth forever.  His Presence will be our home and there will be no more darkness, no stress, no worry, no anxiety, no depression,  no pain, no suffering, no scarcity, no heartache, no sickness and no death.  What a day, glorious day that will be!

“Lord God, bless Your children with bravery, courage and inspiration to share Your love and message with others that Your Kingdom be expanded.  I pray that we would be faithful to You and the life-giving principles of Your Word.  In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.”

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
